​A zentangle is a method of drawing that involves repetition of different patterns. The object is to promote calmness through structured patterns that create beautiful images. The technique is relaxing, fun, and easy to learn! Try out a zentangle by watching the video below. ​

Instructions on how to make your own calming jar
CALMING JAR ACTIVITY
Calming jars are a great tool for calming down when we have strong emotions. Calming jars can also help you:
  • Learn focusing skills
  • Calm down
  • Help regulate strong emotions
You can watch the calming jar video or you can make your own calming jar using the directions below. While you watch the calming jar video, focus on the glitter that is falling down and remember to do some slow deep breaths...notice how you feel at the end of the video.
